I think I am going to take up reading this summer. I haven't devoted time to reading since high school but I want to do so this summer. The first book I am attempting is The Invisible Man by H. G. Wells.
Also hey it beats watching tv on Netflix all day!!
It is a pretty short book but its very interestingly written. Because it dates back to 1898, the English is very interesting. Also this book is supposed to be a science-fiction novel, a genre I have never read. I have finished most of the book and the science he introduces discussing how the man became invisible was thoughtfully played as to not include false statements but also leaves questions as to how the scientist became invisible. It really did spark a lot of thought about whether this is truly possible. Also the main character has a terrible temper, which I think is gonna cause him a lot more trouble than it already has. Imagine being invisible, being irritated at the slightest thing, and losing everything now that invisibility is irreversible. My next post is going to be reflection on that.
Thanks for reading :)
